Peter Bernreiter ferments his wine with wild yeast, which adds dimension to the wine’s naturally joyous character. Nicely textured with aromas of citrus and stone fruit, the wine is extremely foodfriendly. In addition to local pairings like Kümmelbraten (caraway pork bellyroast), Faschierte Laibchen (fried minced meat patties), Fleischknödel (meat dumplings)and the classic Wiener Schnitzel, Southeastern Asian flavors and spicy comfort foods pair beautifully as well.
