Tasting Notes: The color is red garnet, the nose expresses great complexity of perfumes of violet and rose, with spicy notes of tobacco black pepper and leather. The taste is full of intensity with a moderate tannic structure that gives length. This lighter style Barbaresco goes well with rich sauces, stews, moderate cow’s milk cheeses.
Winemaking: Grape harvest by hand in hampers late October. Immediately undergoes a delicate press. Alcoholic fermentation starts with the use of indigenous yeast in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Aged in Slavonic oak for 18 months, 6 months in bottle refinement.
