Chateau Laroque Margaux 2012
This wine is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5 % Petit Verdot.
Classic Margaux is a more feminine version of the wines from other classified-growth villages. On the nose, this wine shows black fruit, campfire, truffles and leafy tobacco. Rich and supple on the palate. Drink now or hold through 2020.
Chateau Laroque is one of the very last family owned estates from the Margaux appellation. Surrounded by the major Classified Growths from 1855, it is a blend planted on Garonne gravels.
