Le Cengle is located East from Aix-en-Provence, in Châteauneuf-le-Rouge. The Domaine is situated between 754 and 843 feet above sea level. It spreads over around 98 acres on the Cengle plateau, on the foot-hill of Montagne Sainte-Victoire.
The estate leans against the Cengle Mountain, with a grey cliff tearing up the trees. The soil is composed by clay and sand with Bauxite, which gives this red colour to it (hence the name of the village Châteauneuf-le-Rouge). The vineyard is entirely trellised to better resist the Mistral assaults and capture the maximum of light.
Light pink with Salmon reflections. The nose has a great aromatic intensity with notes of currant, lime, strawberry and passion fruit. The palate is lively, fresh and delicate, with citrus aromas that stimulate the finish.
