Anjou Rouge 2016, 100% Cabernet Franc is bursting with crushed raspberry fruit, it has classic Cab Franc aromas that are hugely appealing, a mellow mid-palate and a nice freshness on the finish.
The vinifications in red begin with a destemming clusters that macerate for 10 to 30 days. Pumping over the juice is done daily to extract the color and aromas of the grapes. The red wines, made with the Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, will make their malolactic fermentation in vats, then will be aged from 6 to 18 months. Our wines are bottled at the estate from spring.
