Maccagno Roero Arneis DOCG 2011
Winemaking: Manual harvesting in the latter third of September with immediate cryo-maceration (at low, regulated temperatures) with grape skins to maintain freshness while imparting the rich flavor and color of the skins. The wine is refined in steel tanks for 3-4 months.
Tasting Notes: The wine is straw yellow with a medium body and refreshing acidity. Its nose is delicate and full of hints of golden apple and citrus fruits. Savory, soft and tart with a palate cleansing finish. Be daring and pair with steak tartar or go traditional and serve with your favorite fish recipe.
