100% Pinot Noir

An amazing story not typical of Burgundy! The Bzikot family are Polish emigrants whom arrived in Puligny just before World War II with nothing but their clothes on. From those very humble beginnings working in various domaines of Burgundy, this family has managed to acquire an impressive domaine of 4ha of some of the best vineyards in the village of PulignyMontrachet. With minimal intervention in the vineyards and cellar, Sylvain Bzikot produces wines that are at one ripe and rich, yet elegant and complex. Affable and fun-loving, he is one of the underground wine making stars of the region.

Tasting Notes
Bright ruby with a clear rim. Its complex bouquet shows aromas
of small red fruits: raspberry, gooseberry and darker fruits like
blackcurrant and blackberry completed with hints of leather, musk and
forrest. Tender and well-fruited, it has an excellent mouthfeel with a
lingering finish. This wine could aged really well another five years

Anything rabbit from patés to stews and seared veal and pork chops.
